I'm Lianne, a lifestyle family photographer, originally from the UK but now based in the UAE.
I'm a mummy to a beautiful little girl called Ede (pronounced E D) and fur baby Maisy. I Love to travel, eat chocolate and people watch, preferably all at the same time. I'm a hippy at heart, avoid anything sad or scary, and have an awful memory, especially for names - sorry in advance! I'm an instagram addict and generally pretty rubbish at all other forms of social media - so dont facebook message me ;) I genuinely adore children and feel very blessed to do what I do. So if you think you might like me and we're a match then read on to find out why I'd be the perfect photographer for you and your family.
I’ve been a photographer for nearly 10 years, after graduating from Southampton Solent University in the UK with a degree in photography I moved to Dubai where I studied for a degree in Psychology whist working as a nursery teacher and ABA therapist for children with Autism and developmental delays and I loved every minute of it. After finding my feet, I decided to combine my two loves and established dinkyheart photography in 2011. This was the best decision I ever made as it has allowed me to pursue my dreams of working with children and photography.
I feel that my experience with children and my understanding of child psychology along with my education in photography puts me in a unique position where I can truly connect and empathise with any child that I work with. No matter how boisterous, playful, shy or uncomfortable your child maybe I’m confident that I can win them round and achieve great results. I feel so lucky every day that this is my job and I bring that passion and genuine love for what I do to every session.
I endeavour with every photoshoot to get to know your family and your children, and really portray you as you really are; no posing or cheesy smiles, just the natural, authentic love that makes up your family. My work is clean and fresh, uses the abundance of beautiful natural light that we have available in the UAE, especially early in the morning, and as the sun sets, which also enables us to avoid the hot midday heat. Most photoshoots are done on location, making the most of the fantastic combination of the urban cityscapes and beachside location that we live in.
So grab a cuppa and take a look through my galleries, then get in touch so we can discuss what's best for your shoot.
Thanks for visiting, Lianne xox
