A sunrise beach session...

After arriving in darkness and catching an abra to the families canal side villa we took a stroll to the beach as the sun was rising. The weather was perfect considering it was a September morning, and the warm light was a dream to work with.

The children explored the beach in that innocent way that children do, searching for shells, avoiding crabs, racing and in Stellas case trying not to get too Sandy ;) And when we were done exploring the beach we headed up through the grounds of Al Qasr looking for bats and collecting stones.

I always feel inspired by beach sessions but Al Qasr, with its beautiful architecture, stunning beach and uninterrupted views of the Burj is always a winner for me!

As for this beautiful family, they were just a dream as always, the perfect mix of inquisitive, engaged, but also able to completely forget that I was there with my camera! This is the third session I've done with Heta and her family, and sadly the last before they head off on their new adventure to Finland, so it made it extra special for all of us. They chose to have the session at Al Qasr Hotel, as the it holds fond memories for them and their time in Dubai.
